Headphones. Can. Be. A. Nightmare! There, I said it! My kids had the hardest time keeping their headphones organized in the past. The cords were tangled, they were hanging out of their cubbies, the cord on one side got ripped out, the list goes on and on! This drove me crazy!
Last summer, I was at my local Dollar Tree and found retractable headphones! They were a buck each, which set me back a bit, but they were too good to pass up, and I had a plan to make this all work! I bought a few more sets of headphones that I thought I would need (they were from the Dollar Tree). Then I found something to keep them all organized!
This plastic storage box fits all of the headphones in SUPER easily! Each of my kids has a number in our classroom to make life easier, so I labeled each of their headphones with a Sharpie. Later on, I also numbered the bottom of the plastic storage case, so they knew where to put their headphones (this is not pictured, but I simply wrote in Sharpie on the bottom of the case).
You can grab the case here: Plastic Storage Case (Amazon Affiliate link)
Headphones are available here!
(They have a low rating on the site, but we never had any major issues with them. All year, 2 sets of headphones needed to be replaced, but nothing major)
Hope this helps you make life just a little easier in your classroom! You know as well as I do that it’s the little things in the classroom that can make your day just a bit better and keep classroom management on track!
